WHERE IS THE OSSINING SPRAY PARK LOCATED?
Ossining’s outdoor spray park is located at the far end of the Louis Engel Park. Louis Engel is also known as “The Waterfront” Park. People interchangeably refer to the spray park as the splash pad, splash park or water park. Whatever you call it, it’s great for the kids in the summer heat.
The splash pad was resurfaced and upgraded in 2019 thanks to a $100,000 NYS capital grant secured by Senator Carlucci. It’s colorful, soft and a fun spot for kids of all ages.
When is the Spray Park open in 2024?
The spray park re opened in 2024 on Memorial Day weekend from 12pm-7pm, and will remain open until Labor Day.
- From Memorial Day weekend until June 26th: Open Saturdays and Sundays 12-7PM
- From June 26th until Labor Day weekend: Open daily 12-7PM. Later in the season we’ll confirm when the spry park will be closed to the public for summer camp use (last year it was closed on Wednesdays until 3pm)

Are There Any Days During the Summer When the Spray Park is Closed?
The spray park is generally closed on the day of Ossining’s annual fireworks display, and as needed in the event of the Splash Park needing repairs. The Spray Park also closes once a week for Summer Camps. (specific day info to come soon)
