- Ossining Parks
- Veterans Park
Ossining’s Veterans Park (open in Google Maps) is a large park with lots to offer. The park is located at the intersection of Narragansett Ave and Grandview Ave. The heart of the Veteran’s Park Area neighborhood, the park has ample dedicated parking, a number of fields, a great playground, a pond, roller hockey rink, small basketball court, covered bocce court, horseshoe pit and more.
The playground has a climbing web (definitely a kid favorite), 2 play structures, slides, monkey bars, swings and baby swings. There’s a small path going to the playground from the parking lot that works great as a scooter path for little ones.
Parking is available in the park. Lots of it. You should have no problem finding parking here, except on the busiest of days.
