- Richard G. Wishnie Park – Ossining Reservoir
Ossining’s Richard G. Wishnie Park (open in Google Maps) is a park encircling and including the Ossining Reservoir. The park is on the edge of the Chilmark neighborhood.
The park consists primarily of a flat paved track, about 1/3 of a mile long, that runs around the reservoir. This park is the perfect destination for casual strolls, picnics, or simply enjoying the outdoors. Families often visit for leisurely walks, and the relatively long and flat path make it accessible for all ages.
Parking is available in a small lot off Pleasantville Rd. next to the large green holding tanks. If you put 61 Pleasantville Rd. into your GPS, it should bring you right to the entrance. There is also street parking on Orchard R
